Extra Space Storage is thrilled to announce the grand opening of a new facility in collaboration with Reinerio Faife at FUTURA, a prominent investment and real estate development company. This latest addition is located at 14800 Narcoossee Rd in Orlando, FL, and is another example of our expanding third-party management platform.

The newly opened multi-level facility spans an impressive 89,915 net rentable square feet and offers 965 diverse units. Ranging in size from the compact 5×5 to the expansive 10×40, each unit boasts premium features such as indoor access, drive-up access, and 100% climate control, ensuring a top-tier storage experience for all our customers.

The journey to the opening of this facility was a testament to persistence and teamwork, marked by a series of starts and stops that tested the resilience of the team. District Manager Aaron Heshmaty highlighted the collaborative spirit of the local team—District Team Lean John Acevedo and Store Manager Jon Reganthat—who helped propel this project forward:

“Our team stayed flexible throughout the process, which was a green light, red light affair for over numerous months, awaiting our Temporary Certificates of Occupancy. Once the approval to open came through, it was a celebratory moment. The team pulled together to get units prepped, tagged, and ready to rent. Store Manager Jon Regan was driven to get the first rental on the books and was successful in his mission—a fun high-five moment! We are excited to see the potential of this site.”

The successful launch of this facility also relied on the dedicated efforts of our Salt Lake City Support Center, particularly Sr. Regional Third-Party Manager Tyler Cichos and Sr. Third-Party Management Director Aaron Lubeck, who worked closely with Mr. Faife throughout the development process. Faife, a Florida-based real estate developer, took a bold step with this project, his inaugural venture into self storage, by partnering with seasoned storage developers to bring it to fruition.

This new facility enhances the Extra Space Storage portfolio and contributes to the Orlando community, offering residents and businesses a secure and convenient storage solution.
