Once a farming community, Fulshear is now one of the fastest-growing cities in the Houston area. A little less than an hour outside of Houston, this small suburb is great for those looking for a calm, friendly environment to raise a family or enjoy their golden years. Residents can find a variety of housing options from contemporary apartments to new construction on spacious lots. Many families choose to live in Fulshear because it’s close to great schools in Katy ISD and Lamar CISD, and because it’s also one of the safest suburbs in Texas.
