This year’s conference was held in Austin, TX. Leaders from Extra Space Storage shared information about the company’s performance and growth, marketing strategies, operational efficiencies, product advancements, and more. The most common themes were growth, innovation, and the importance of valuing employees and partners.

The 2022 conference was the biggest yet for Extra Space Storage, which is fitting since “everything is bigger in Texas,” as the saying goes. There was also lots of Texas-sized fun to be had in addition to company updates—meet-and-greets with longhorn steers, Western-themed pictures, mechanical bull riding, live music, and more. But most significantly, it was an opportunity to connect and spend time with each other after more than a two-year hiatus from the event.

Entrepreneur, self storage property owner, and Extra Space Storage partner Dean Alexis shared the ultimate compliment at the conference.
