Each month at Extra Space Storage, we recognize employees who go above and beyond in caring for our customers with our Customer Care Award. We’re happy to announce Catherine Mayrand as the April 2021 recipient.
Mayrand is an Assistant Store Manager in Milwaukee, WI. She’s our April winner because of her commitment to retaining customers through professionalism and kindness. One customer sent this email to our Salt Lake City headquarters to express his delight after working with Mayrand. Here’s an excerpt from the email:
“I have had the unit several months now and from the very beginning Cathy has been so helpful, so kind, and so professional. It is quite evident that she really wants customers to have a positive renting experience. She was patient and knowledgeable, which really made going through the paperwork and setting up the unit less ‘painful.’ Thanks to her, it has been an extremely positive experience all along. With her personality and care, I can assure you that she not only brings in business for Extra Space Storage, but retains it. She should absolutely be recognized for the fine work she does.”

She doesn’t just keep customers coming in the door, but her positive attitude and genuine desire to help encourages them to stay as well.
