They say people really only share reviews when it’s a poor one. Im afraid this review is going to live up to that saying. I’m giving 2 stars because the site was clean and the person who helped me wasn’t rude. I just moved in and I’m already making arrangements to move out. NOT worth the frustration. I’ve rented from several different storage providers and this is by far the worst location I’ve ever experienced. The only thing good about this facility is the location. The gate closes every couple of minutes so while you’re trying to bring things into the bldg, you’ll have to keep putting your code in to get the gate open again. In order to use the elevators you have to put your code in to get on any floor other than the first floor. It took forever over 45 seconds to close unless you keep pressing the close button, but once on the floor, hurry up and get off the elevator, because as soon as it opens it’s closing again locking you inside. It will not re-open on that floor again. You’ll have to go back down to the first floor, get off the elevator, keep pressing the button so the door doesn’t close with your belongings, put your code in again and hurry back onto the elevator to push the floor you need again. Once on the floor, be ready to block the door to get your things off the elevator, but don’t block the door, because the sign says it’ll make the elevator inoperable. Make sure you’re not trying to use the elevator near 10P, because if you try to you will be locked inside the elevator once the clock strikes 10P. No grace period! ?? It will only open on the 1st floor, and If you’re unit is still open, you’ll have to wait until 6A to be able to secure it. Also, 3rd floor has no climate control so it’s literally a sauna in the summer and will likely be a freezer in the winter. If you have products or items that are temperature sensitive, DO NOT rent beyond the 2nd floor. It was so hot, we could barely breathe. Now about the unit… I rented a 10x20 because I needed a large space. Instead of giving me a 10x20 space, I was given 2 10x10 spaces that were side by side. Not what I asked for. It said there would be 2 doors to be able to access the unit. However this is not actually accurate because it’s not 1 10X20 unit with doos on opposite ends. It’s 2 separate units. The deception was real on this on Had I known about all of this prior to renting, I would’ve gone with a different facility. I appreciate the free locks that came with the unit even though the attendant tried to make it seem like it was a courtesy he was giving me (It was clearly stated online ??), but I would’ve rather a non-aggravating system. To top it off, the attendant told me my rate is likely to go up in 2-3 months despite me signing a 6 month contract. Absolutely wild to me… 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
