I visited this establishment friday, knowing nothing about the process. I honestly came for a quote. The building itself is nice. I met with J, very knowledgeable, easy to speak to, easy to understand...even if I didnt know what I wanted lol. He showed me multiple units while social distancing, we used separate elevators ( yes they have elevators and flatbeds??) to and from the unit and separate doors entering the storage area and the lobby. The pricing was amazing for everything that's included to secure your property. Highly recommend!!

My experience with this location was... Awesome! I‘ve rented various self storage units in the past, in NH and FL. This location is one of the best. Easy access, a nice loading dock, and a beautiful building. The staff has been wonderful, especially Alex, who greeted us on move-in day. If I didn’t know the facts, I would’ve thought he was the manager. His professional and friendly demeanor fits the bill of what I Associate with managerial skills. Having owned my own business in the past, I can speak with experience about that. I absolutely won’t be going anywhere else for Storage space in the future.

UPDATE, January 9, 2020 I just completed my move, but I highly recommend Extra Space Storage. This facility checked all my boxes (clean, friendly staff, secure, fair price, and convenient), and I will certainly use their services again in the future if I need them. Probably the best storage facility I've seen! I'm downsizing and needed some extra space to put some furniture and household items. Some of my favorite things about this place: Convenient to get to, located right off West Shore It isn't right next to the road, it's located a good distance back with an empty lot out front A coded door to enter The door hours are 6AM through 10PM. I won't need to access my stuff late at night and it gives peace of mind that no one will be there at weird hours trying to break in. Climate controlled, on hot days when I've taken my stuff to storage it feels great inside. I know nothing will be ruined by humidity. Elevator for access to higher floors Higher floors that aren't ground level. Being located on West Shore next to the bay I wanted to be sure I stored my things above ground level just in case. Provided dollys/carts to make unloading/loading things easier Dedicated loading dock for moving trucks or bigger cars, makes things way easier. Facility is always clean. Haven't seen any bugs yet. They let you use your own insurance or they have insurance to provide as well if you want to go that route. I also was able to take advantage of the first month free promotion. There was some admin fees and they want you to use their own branded lock, but that's expected. I was more than happy to only pay administrative fees for the first month. The staff is super helpful and friendly too. When I went in to sign up Ted was the one who helped me out and he made the whole process extremely easy and hassle free. It took probably half an hour and thats including time to be taken through the facility and shown my storage locker. He was super friendly, and I saw Jay the store manager in passing and he was just as friendly. The staff seems really great and like they enjoy working there and I know if I had any issues or needed anything else I'd be taken care of. If I need another storage unit I'd definitely rent a second one here. I can't say enough good things about the place. Probably the best storage in Tampa, especially south Tampa.

I rented a storage unit here for a few months while doing work at my house. Prices were fair and outright, the facility was clean and safe, and customer service was great. Would definitely recommend!
