Always pleasant to interact with, the facility is always clean. I would give it for or five stars if they weren't constantly increasing the rate. When I acquired my last unit (at a promotional rate), they increased the rate before my promotion even finished, so I got hit a with an even bigger jump in rate than originally contracted. If you use it as a business expense, then it's a write off and it costs what it costs (until you reach your limit). If it's for personalise, you will face periodic rate increases and it adds up quickly.

I had to move out of the northeast somewhat unexpectedly after being laid off earlier this year, and I knew at the time it would probably be more beneficial to leave most of my belongings behind instead of doing a temporary cross-country relocation just to have to move again in a few months. I've never owned my own unit before, and honestly most experiences I have heard of aren't the best, so I was apprehensive. But this Extra Space Storage really exceeded my expectations and made the initial renting, duration of the rent, and move-out so smooth. The manager, Kay, really was a huge help when I was trying to plan our move-out. She helped coordinate everything very easily, communicated when she received my key so my movers could get access, and helped them with getting access to the unit. My movers had great things to say over the phone about the cleanliness of the whole facility. I'm so happy with the experience that I'm going to get another unit at Extra Space here in Texas. Thank you so much!

I was the executor of my late father’s estate, which included a storage space packed with lifetime of memories. Kay, The manager of the Hackensack Extra space storage facility was so helpful to me during this long and understandably difficult process. The clearing of my father‘s unit required multiple trips in my tiny Honda fit as I disposed, and dispersed the contents Of the unit. I was impressed with the facility which was, clean, cool, dry and easily accessible to maneuver, large bookcases through the halls of the second floor, down the elevator and out into my car. But most impressive was the management staff. Kay was both helpful and kind making a Difficult task, a manageable and even pleasant process. Much gratitude to you Kay and to extra space storage.

Very nice and to the point. While i was there a customer came in and complained about his bill going up by almost double. I was tempted to walk out and go some were else. I wonder what i got my self into. I am going to research to see if this company is doing this on the regular basis. Stay tuned,
