I want to share the most extraordinary experience I had with Dee Campos, the store manager at Extra Space Storage (2977 Rodeo Park Dr E, Santa Fe, NM 87505). Her kindness, efficiency, and sheer competence turned what could have been a nightmare into one of the biggest reliefs of my year — honestly, maybe my decade. I was in a bind: working remotely from Los Angeles and unable to fly back to Santa Fe to clear out my storage unit. My things had been there for seven years, and I’ve never once had an issue — the facility is clean, temperature-controlled, and impeccably maintained. But this move was complicated, and I was extremely anxious about managing it from another state. Enter Dee, who is quite literally an angel on earth. She personally oversaw every detail of my move-out. She coordinated with the movers, managed unexpected hiccups (like my belongings not fitting into the U-Boxes that were delivered), and even provided locks for the boxes when I completely overlooked that piece.
