I quickly needed a space to rent in Tulsa, OK. I searched Extra Space because I’ve had great experiences in VA with them. The South Mingo location was perfect for my needs. Rented the climate controlled 10x12 unit and it was perfect. Love the garage door access to the building and the building and property were very secure. Completed entire transaction on line and that was a breeze too. Only things I would consider: 1. Would have liked access to an open top dumpster or trash can to get rid of dunnage from move. 2. I’m good at backing up trailers so I didn’t have a problem with my 18’ trailer but there is not a pull through yet. Looks like gate is in place for pull through but the building in front is under construction and the drive is not complete. 3. Pretty bad pot hole when turning into drive. I was on the first floor but there are elevators for other floor access. Gate and door codes worked as should. Access was easy. They proved Dollie’s on site and they were in great condition. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage.

This place is a pretty pricey, but it has been worth it! I stored my stuff here for almost 3 years, and never had a single issue. I was in and out pretty often over the course of that time frame, and never once did I see a single bug or pest. All of my stuff was kept secure, the temp control was incredible, and I felt safe going and out by myself at any time of day/night. I was also very pleased, because I had a very unexpected in last minute move when I had to empty my unit. I had already paid for the full month, and the staff graciously agreed to reimburse me for the remainder of the month that I did not use. They did not have to, and I am VERY appreciative that they did.

Chris the manager at Extra Space storage off of 81 and mingo he has wonderful customer service skills and very outgoing. He really goes above and beyond to make sure you are taking care of as a customer. Thanks Chris for all tht you do at the storage site. ??

I’m a socially anxious person and don’t really enjoy calling people or going into offices, so being able to reserve and access a storage unit without speaking to anyone was super helpful! I got a call a few days after from a very personable, friendly employee who wanted to make sure I had no issues with the unit or getting in through the gate, and I was incredibly impressed.

Absolutely fantastic, Scott,and Etta were very professional and helpful. Got exactly what I wanted.. I would definitely recommend this facility, clean, cool, and out of the weather for unloading. Also elevator which is very important for me.
