RODENTS!!! No idea how this place has such a high rating. We have had a 10x10 here for a couple of years and in that time the price has at least tripled. That is one reason for the one star. But what is really driving this rating is that there is a RODENT PROBLEM. Apparently someone was storing something they weren't supposed to and it started/worsened a rodent problem. Instead of informing people when this became a problem, they said nothing. Upon going to our unit to drop items off, there were visible rodent droppings and the smell of urine. I called the front desk, and after a few back and forth phone calls, was essentially told they will take no responsibility in assisting with the biohazard cleanup and that "a mask and gloves are a good idea." Absolutely ridiculous. If you want a clean, safe space to store your items, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are other reviews that reference the rodent problem. And with the attitude of the person I talked to over the phone, I can only imagine it will get much worse.

I have had a couple units with Extra Storage Space. They opened each unit very quick and the staff are very kind. I highly recommend them!

RATS. I’ve been renting storage units for 10 years and have never had an issue like this. I don’t store food or anything that would attract pests, yet my unit and belongings were completely covered in rat droppings. When I brought this to staff and asked to move, they said I could switch to another unit of the same size — but only if I paid an extra $200 per month. They also confirmed they don’t use any rat deterrents in the units. I normally don’t leave reviews, but if this saves someone else from dealing with what I went through, it’s worth posting.
