Extra Space Storage is thrilled to announce the addition of a new location at 1569 NC-16 Business in Denver, NC. This is a significant milestone as it represents the first acquisition for a Storage Express location since we acquired the brand. Additionally, it will be our inaugural store operated under the Storage Express remote model in North Carolina.
“We are excited to have the first Storage Express location in our division and learn the ins and outs of operating this type of site,” shared Extra Space Storage District Manager Chuck Denham.
Bringing this remote model into a new market will be a valuable learning experience. We have confidence in our exceptional team in North Carolina to execute well and sincerely appreciate them for taking on this exciting challenge.
“The transition of this property to Storage Express has been seamless, thanks to the outstanding support and communication from our Transitions team,” continued Chuck. “I would also like to extend a special thanks to District Team Leads Jashana Brooks and Chris Reno for their contributions to this success.”
Our objective is to expand Storage Express by focusing on smaller properties in new markets. The newly acquired facility boasts 41,050 rentable square feet and features 208 units, with storage unit sizes ranging from 10×10 to 10×30.
