Extra Space Storage is excited to share the opening of a new facility in partnership with L Murphy LLC, located about 30 minutes north of Atlanta, GA, in the city of Kennesaw.
This facility, located at 331 Chastain Rd NW, features 687 fully climate-controlled storage units equating to 66,710 net rentable square feet. Unit sizes range from small 5×5 units to spacious 10×30 units and include amenities like elevator access, sturdy moving carts, and electronic gate access. This location is sure to be a customer favorite due to its beautiful brick facade, extra clean interior, and convenient access right off I-575 and Chastain Rd NW.
“We have managed several properties for this ownership group,” shared Doug Brunner, District Manager at Extra Space Storage. “They are a great team to work with. They have very high standards, and the buildings are always first class.”
The site was developed and is owned by L Murphy LLC. The Kennesaw, GA, location is L Murphy LLC’s third facility managed by Extra Space Storage—the second-managed facility was opened just two months prior. A fourth location is also in the works!
“Opening two facilities within two months of each other was a unique but fun process,” shared Sean Rasmus, Owner of L Murphy LLC. “Extra Space is currently managing three locations for us throughout Florida and Georgia, and previously purchased five facilities from us. We’ll be breaking ground in March on another site in Buford, GA, which we’re very excited about!”
