Extra Space Storage of Tampa, Florida has offered the best in self-storage, with state-of-the-art security and hallmark convenience. We are centrally located on Cypress Street, right off of Westshore Boulevard and near Kennedy, close to I-275. Our knowledgeable, friendly staff will help you determine which of our 400 plus storage units is best for you, be it a 5’x 5’ up to 15’x 20’. Many of our storage units are equipped with climate-control to protect sensitive items. Because we want to simplify your moving process, we offer drive-up units, 12 parking spaces and extra wide drive aisles large enough for a semi-truck. You are able to access your goods from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., some of the longest access hours in the area. And to ensure the safety of your valuables, we have 24-hour video surveillance. Our facility also offers DocuSign, a unique feature that allows you to sign your rental agreement through an electronic signature. We are proximate the University of Tampa and just outside of Ybor City and have served the communities of Beach Park, Westshore, Westshore Mall, International Mall, Westshore Plaza, Tampa International Airport, Grey Gables, Palma Ceia, Culbreath Height , West Tampa, Seminole Heights, Town and Country, West Shore, Veterans Expressway, MacDill Air Force Base and South Tampa since 2005. Many of our customers enjoy our proximity to the Courtney Campbell Causeway close to Ben T. Davis Municipal Beach, Hyde Park, the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens and the Salvador Dali Museum. The facility is conveniently located and is not in a high crime area! Security, although excellent, could be improved with a few additional cameras within the facility hallways! The facility and grounds are always clean and well maintained! Staff members are very knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to assist! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to store their valuables in a clean and well run facility!!!

We had a great experience at this location. We stored college dorm room contents for the summer and were very pleased. The facility was clean and well lit. The staff was helpful. When we returned after a few months to get our stuff, everything was in perfect condition, none of the musty smells that could happen at some storage facilities.

Moving can be so exhausting and frustrating so the last thing we needed was to run out of space in the new location and nowhere to put very fragile and sensitive items.
