Extra Space Storage of San Diego, California gives military personnel, residents and businesses more storage for your money with lower rates than other storage facilities, a free moving truck and 24-hour access to your unit so you can get to your goods when you need them. We are conveniently located between Interstate 15 (I-15) and Interstate 805 (I-805) by the cross streets Cabot and Arjons Drive next to Ashley Furniture and close to the Miramar Marine Base. Our facility has 884 self-storage units ranging in size from 4’x 5’ to 10’x 50’ and storage spaces for RVs, cars, boats, campers and other vehicles. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your needs. Because we value our customers’ security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance, electric gate access and a manager who lives onsite. We also want to make your move easier so we’ve implemented convenient features like drive aisles wide enough for semi-trucks, a free moving truck, moving carts for interior units and lifts. Our facility also offers a unique feature called DocuSign, an electronic lease that allows you to sign your rental agreement digitally to save you time. As part of the community, many of our customers enjoy shopping at the Miramar Mall, recreating at Mira Mesa Park or Mira Mesa Lake and supporting the Chargers and Padres. Because of our proximity to the Marine base, many military personnel choose to store with us either long-term or while in transition. We have successfully served the communities of La Jolla, MCAS Miramar, Mira Mesa, San Diego, University of California San Diego (UCSD), Scripps Rand, University City, La Mesa, Vista and Richardson since 2006. I originally went with ExtraSpace Storage because of an online deal for a really great price. When I arrived the service was amazing and they definitely made me feel welcome. They were very accomodating to my requests and after a tour I felt confident with choosing them as my location. Now that i've been there for a couple months I feel I made the right decision. They're kind of hidden on a back street and I feel the security could be better, but it's standard for a storage unit. I haven't heard of anyone's stuff getting messed up or stolen, my items have been left exactly as I left them with no tampering or water damage, and they have continued their excellent customer service whenever I have had to speak with them. I will definitely be staying.
