Extra Space Storage of New Orleans, Louisiana provides a premier location and a secure environment to meet the business and personal storage needs of the tight-knit New Orleans community. We are conveniently situated in the heart of the city on the corner of Washington Highway and Jefferson Davis Highway next to Interstate 10, directly across from WVUE, FOX 8 news station. Our facility has 766 self-storage units ranging in size from 5’x 5’ to 10’x 30’. All of our storage units are climate-controlled to protect your goods against harsh weather. We also offer outdoor storage for RVs, boats and cars; our storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your storage needs. Because we value your security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance, secured gates and a manager who lives onsite. To make moving into our facility easier, we have complementary trolleys and an all-weather loading bay. As part of the New Orleans community, many of our customers participate in the famous Mardi Gras celebration and festivals such as the Jazz Fest, one of the largest music festivals in the country, The French Quarter Festival and the Oyster Festival. New Orleans is also known for sports and many customers attend Saints games in the nearby Superdome and the Bayou Classic, a football game between college rivals that also takes place in the Superdome. We are also close to many shopping districts including Magazine Street and the Central Business District in the French Quarter. We enjoy close proximity to Metairie and many popular restaurants and parks including Katie’s, famous for its southern soul food and Café du Monde, famous for beignets as well as Audubon Park and City Park. Many students and professors from Xavier University of New Orleans, Loyola University of New Orleans and Tulane University of New Orleans store with us either long-term or while in transition.
