I had given a negative review when there was a young lady or assistant to the manager last year in Watsonville’s Extra Space Storage, because she was very rude that we wanted to find another place to store our travel trailer. Now that we have a new Manager Darlene, she is the sweetest person next to Nadine our former, former Manager. We have been having problems with our travel trailer’s cover being vandalized and people urinating on our trailer, because it’s way in the back, under a tree and there are no cameras there. Homeless people have been breaking the fence and going through the storage yard sleeping behind our trailer. We told her that there was a man laying behind our trailer, Darlene went to check on it, she asked the man to kindly leave, which he did. Then Darlene suggested we move to a different space and she tried her best to accommodate us with great success. We want to thank her so much for caring enough about her customers to help them feel save and our property to be in a safe environment. Thank you Darlene and we hope you never leave the Watsonville Extra Space Storage as long as we continue renting there.

So a friend asked me to come down and pay $40 which was the remainder of his storage rent due before it would be auctioned the next day. I showed up at 5:59:58 and Darlene happened to be walking out the door. She was the closing person on shift locking up for the night. She ever so happily accepted the payment for my friends storage. We had issues with getting the money to be accepted via cash so we ran two different cards and ended up acepting the money at 6:14pm. 15 minutes after her shift most people would complain about it's the end of the shift and that they got to go home but not her. She was polite she was courteous she was ever so professional and she was willing to go beyond the end of her shift hours to help an extra space customer. So thank you darlene!! Many blessings
