At Extra Space Storage, our success is built on the dedication of our team members. In Q3 2025, we are proud to celebrate the 25 year anniversaries of five employees whose hard work and passion have helped shape our company's growth and culture. From store managers and maintenance professionals to district leaders, each of these individuals brings a unique story and a lasting impact.

Elena Andrade, Store Manager

Elena started her career in self storage 25 years ago with Storage USA in Norwalk, CA, later becoming part of the Extra Space team after an acquisition in 2005. She has moved to several other sites throughout her tenure and is happy to be back at the location where she started!

"Elena's positive, upbeat attitude is at the forefront of everyone she interacts with and everything she does. Her passion to make a difference at Extra Space is highly recognized by her peers and team. She genuinely cares about the success of her peers and does a fantastic job coaching them to do better. Elena's ability to connect with others is a standout quality among the team. She consistently thinks on her toes and tries new things to push the business forward. Aldrick Harper, Bargold Maintenance and Install Support

For 25 years, Aldrick has been a cornerstone of our maintenance team, admired for his reliability, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

He is attentive to detail, and takes pride in every detail of his work. When Aldrick services a room, there's no doubt that it's left in excellent condition. Arnold Hopkins, District Team Lead

Arnold has left an extraordinary mark on Extra Space through 25 years of mentorship, leadership, and unwavering dedication to his team and customers.

"Congratulations to Arnold Hopkins on 25 incredible years with Extra Space! Arnold has been a mentor, a leader, and a true friend to so many throughout his tenure. His exceptional leadership has helped develop multiple assistant managers into successful store managers, all while delivering outstanding customer service and upholding the highest operational standards. Arnold's dedication, professionalism, and impact have been nothing short of remarkable as the steward of the largest store in our district, where his store consistently leads our District in revenue. His passion for teaching, training, and developing others truly sets him apart. I'm proud to not only work alongside him, but also to call him a friend." - Kerry Copeland, District Manager

Julio Rodriguez, Bargold Field Representative

Julio's tenure in the self storage industry began 25 years ago, following a referral from his then-sister-in-law, who was a rental coordinator at Bargold. Throughout his career, Julio has served as a Field Representative for Bargold in New York City. His initial duties were centered on in-person work, which included conducting up to eight rental appointments daily across various apartment buildings, surveying buildings with vacancies, and performing routine location check-ups.

"After 25 years with the rental team, Julio's legacy is one of steadfast commitment. His daily actions have inspired colleagues and upheld our company's core values. Vivian Torres, Store Manager

Vivian began her self storage journey in the summer of 2000. At the time, she was working at her uncle's lunch truck, which he stored at a Storage USA site in Philadelphia. The site manager asked if he knew of anyone looking for a job. Vivian applied and was hired as an Assistant Manager. Vivian has worked at that same site ever since and officially joined the Extra Space team during the 2005 acquisition of Storage USA.

"Vivian is an excellent representation of the Extra Space culture. She takes an incredible amount of pride and ownership in everything that she does. She is well respected on our team and always available to help others. She approaches every day with a genuine humility and desire to learn. Still, 25 years later, Vivian wants everything on the property to be better than it was the day before and is always looking for ways to improve her store and herself. She is a model of being consistent, positive, and trying each day to be her best!" - Daniel Smith, District Manager
