We are excited to celebrate the promotion of Jeff Norman to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President. The Board of Directors of Extra Space Storage selected Jeff Norman to succeed former CFO, Scott Stubbs, and he assumed responsibilities as CFO on July 1, 2025.
Jeff Norman, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President
Jeff Norman has been with Extra Space Storage since 2012, joining the company's finance team, before leading the company's Investor Relations efforts for several years. Jeff has also served on the Company's senior management team since 2014, operating in various roles including Director of Financing, Vice President of Investor Relations, and most recently as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Treasury. Jeff was instrumental in establishing the company's bridge loan program and sustainability program. He was also central in obtaining and maintaining the Company's public credit ratings and has managed the Company's risk management function since 2022.
Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Utah. Prior to Extra Space, he spent over eight years in commercial real estate lending at Zions Bank, serving in multiple roles on their National Real Estate Group, and concluding as a Vice President. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Whitney, and their four children. They enjoy watersports and being outside in the beautiful Utah mountains.
