Worst storage experience I’ve ever had. My unit was broken into and I had over $25,000 worth of stuff stolen. I filed a claim and received a small check for compensation. After my unit was broken into I asked to have the month’s rent waived - since all my stuff was taken. I received no reply and then they actually raised my rent. Also to really top off how unprofessional and poorly managed my rental was. The first day I moved in I put all my stuff into the unit. And after that I find out that the manager didn’t put the lock there(they provide locks when moving it and It’s a proprietary lock). So I drove around for hours going to different stores looking for this lock. No luck. This caused me to drive back home, drop off my U-Haul, then drive back and I slept in front of my storage unit (because it was unlocked and I was afraid of my unit being robbed. After this first incident I talked to management and asked for them to waive my first month’s rent for the hassle their negligence caused. No reply. The only redeeming thing I can mention is that when I moved out it was 2 days after I may a payment for the month. Management did reach out and they waived the fee. This waiving of the fee only did come after a few heated conversations with the management about how poorly they handled it. Wouldn’t recommend this place and I feel very violated by the experience. Gave one star for the waiving of the fee.
