Beginning of June 2026 i went up to extra space and spoken with Rae to complete a schedule move out of my unit 7127A. Everything went perfectly. I scheduled my move out for July4th. I instructed my movers to leave the unit open once all of my things were out so that way i won’t have to return to the storage unit to unlock it myself. I already paid the prorated amount for my remaining time there so it was no need for me to return. I’m thinking everything went smoothly until 4 days after my move out day i get a call from Crystal Williams asking me about my monthly payment. She ask me when do i plan to make a payment on my unit because the late fee will be applied the follow day. Mind you my move out was July 4 that was a Saturday. Also mind you she was there when i scheduled the move out with Rae. So she knew about my move out. She called me on July 8th that is a Wednesday 4 days after my move out day she called me asking about money . Why didn’t i get a call from Crystal Williams Sunday July 5 the day after my move out when they suppose to be checking the units. When they realize it was lock then why didn’t i get a call then to come remove the lock. My movers simply forgot to unlock it no big deal. But the fact that i had to pay for those 4 days after July 4th for having access to the unit when they could of call me the day after my move out about my unit being lock so i could have unlocked it and saved money. My storage unit had been empty since July 3rd and i have message profit from my movers that it was. Next time Crystal instead of calling my phone asking about money after i already paid the prorated amount. Call sooner to resolve whatever the issue is so people can save money…… because of this I’ll never come back here. Y’all money hungry….. i never missed a payment and never been late on a payment. This issue wouldn’t have been a issue had she called me to inform me that my lock was still on my unit. I would of came right up there to remove it so i wouldn’t have to pay anymore money.
