Reaponse to Owner: The phone number shared is for this Happy Valley location, where just yesterday the manager Natalie refused to speak with us and told us try he District Manager would contact us in 2 days on Friday. This is after she refused to accept our our signed form to issue new key simply because we noted the keys were not lost after Jeremy's signature including full name. Since she won't accept our calls we need someone to call us. Our contact info is on file with the store. After our experience, over five months updating to one star review from five stars for the following reasons: ????? This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. After selling our home and moving from Oregon to Idaho, we rented a unit here. Our rent was increased, so we drove back to Oregon just to move everything into a smaller unit to save money. Shortly afterward, that smaller unit’s rent was increased again to more than the larger unit. When we later returned to empty the unit, the manager referred us to someone to dispose of our belongings. We signed a handwritten agreement and left the keys with her. While driving back to Idaho, we changed our minds and immediately canceled the arrangement. The store manager Natalie confirmed she would hold onto the keys. In June, when we asked for the keys back, she claimed we had never left them with her and insisted we sign paperwork stating the keys had been “lost.” They were not lost. We refused to sign something we knew was false, so when she said it was required, we added a note about not losing the keys after my partners signature, then after multiple days without a word from Natalie, she said she rejected the form because it didn’t include legal name - see screenshot for yourself. Since then, we’ve effectively been denied access to our own belongings while continuing to be charged rent, late fees, and additional charges every month. The most disappointing part isn’t just the money—it’s the refusal to honor a written agreement or work toward a reasonable solution, while knowingly preventing access to our belongings. I strongly recommend documenting absolutely everything if you rent here.
