We had two storage units we had been renting for almost a year with no issues. We combined them into one storage unit a couple of months ago and mice have made a mess of the unit. I let management know and she immediately blamed us even though everything in the unit had been at this facility for a year already. Our two options are; pull everything out so they can clean the unit and then put everything back in all in the same day (it’s a 12’x29’ unit) or rent a different unit away from the field that the mice are coming from. I liked the second idea, but I will have to pay that unit and we would have to move everything into the new unit the same day with no grace period and we would have to pay for both units until we move everything out.
