Generally it's ok. They have great hours and offer decent move-in specials, but you have to pay up front to lock in rates. If you don't, the price goes up dramatically. I had to move out it went up so much. I appreciate indoor storage, but there are a few more things I don't like: They usually have music blaring in the halls. I've asked them to turn it off or down when I'm the only one there, but it's against their policy. The elevator was out of order the day I went to move in, which was problematic, having a unit upstairs. The staff was unhelpful with this. It took a while to FIND the stairs because it was an external entrance, and they didn't offer anything for the inconvenience of having to haul everything upstairs. I had reserved online and the guy actually said if I had called them, they would have told me the elevator was down. (?!) Unhelpful. Tough luck. I could either deal with it, or they'd be happy to rent me a more expensive unit downstairs. Also, their new gate system was a mystery. I was used to entering a code upon entering and exiting to secure my unit. This last time, there is just a wire in the ground, but there was no signage to pull forward and I was already so close, my front end obscured the wire I was supposed to drive over to open the gate. Another customer came along and opened the gate before I was actually able to reach someone in the office through the automated system. Wear and tear is catching up with this place.
We apologize for falling short. Your concerns about pricing, the elevator, music, and gate access are noted. Please call us at (805) 771-4758 to discuss further.
