Absolutely horrible experience. My storage unit was ROBBED and it honestly felt like nobody there gave a shit. The lock had already been jammed before, which should’ve been a huge red flag. When I reported the lock not working, all they did was replace it. Then I come back and realize my stuff is GONE. No urgency, no concern, nothing. Basically I was told that if I had insurance, I could file a claim, but otherwise I was screwed. That was pretty much the extent of the help I got. The guy at the front desk was completely emotionless about the situation too. I understand he personally didn’t steal my stuff, but when somebody is telling you their belongings were stolen from a facility they PAY YOU to keep secure, you’d expect at least some concern or willingness to help. What pisses me off the most is how something this serious can happen and it feels like just another normal day to them. I paid for a storage unit because I thought my belongings would be secure. Instead, my stuff gets stolen and I’m basically left to deal with it myself. I would NOT trust this place with anything valuable. If you’re thinking about storing your belongings here, seriously think twice.
