You cannot ask for a better manager than Ashley in Bristol, CT. She knows how to balance the demands and responsibilities of the job, its tech, its online and walk in environments all while seeing it through the customers POV. Whatever you are paying her, pay her more.

This place is so clean. And the prices are reasonable. Ashley was extremely helpful. She was attentive and very friendly. Great customer service ??

I was moving out of state. The staff was kind and informative about the process. They made this transition very easy for me.

Edit: so three months after we signed up for our unit, we received a notice in the mail on a little yellow postcard saying our monthly rate was DOUBLING. My husband called to see what was going on and they said our “promotional rate” was expiring. Not once during our sign up did the manager mention that it was a promotional rate that was only good for 3 months, it was represented to us that the initial rate was the rate. I’m keeping it at 3 stars because it’s still very clean and safe feeling, but that is a huge customer service problem to me. We ended up moving our stuff back home, which in the middle of trying to sell our home was a giant hassle. So in my head I kind of had this picture that storage units were like creepy and unpleasant places, and so I was VERY pleasantly surprised at how nice Life Storage was. Brightly lit and clean, (though the reception office was very cold, we were told they were working on getting it fixed), and the manager Ashley was so friendly, walked us through everything, how to use the loading dock, how to find our unit from the loading dock, that sort of thing. She had a great sense of humor and cheerfully answered any questions that we had. We had almost gone to a competitor closer to our home, but the price was a LOT better here at Life Storage and I’m so glad we chose them on every level
