I had a wonderful experience at Extra Space Storage, and I especially want to recognize Shane for his outstanding customer service. He was incredibly helpful, professional, patient, and genuinely took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. Shane made the entire process so easy and stress-free. You can tell that he truly cares about helping customers and takes pride in his work. It’s not every day that you come across someone who goes above and beyond the way he did. Extra Space Storage is very lucky to have someone like Shane on their team. He definitely deserves recognition for the excellent service he provided. I spoke with one of the managers last week as I noticed a green paper covering the entrance gate code box and technicians working on the only other gate code box. My question to the manager was if I will have access after office hours ( when the gates are closed ) as I pay for 24-hour access. I was told "rest assured that you will have access" I was also told if i get close enough to the gate, the bluetooth signal will reach the code box on the other side of the gate and will open, well unless you jump over the gate it is out of range so I'm not sure why I was told that. I was also told in a worst case scenario the gate could be opened remotely which I confirmed is also not true. Extremely disappointing to find this out at 11:30 pm when I attempted to access parking for my work vehicle and had to figure out parking arrangements for two vehicles at midnight, in the rain on a Wednesday night. Perhaps a text message or an email stating something along the lines of "24-hour access memebers may not have access until further notice" especially since this has been on going for at least a week.
