Tallahassee Self Storage at 2568 W Tennessee St

I called to rent a storage unit and was told everything was good to go - receipts received for payment - documents received for signatures- gate code provided - office hours & access hours provided - we were good to move in. I received a follow up welcome call to make sure I didn’t have any questions - all was good, or so I thought. I attempted to sign the documents and was unable to sign. Therefore unable to gain access. When I presented to the facility during office hours I was greeted by a sign advising to call the number provided because they are on the property but not in the office. I called number and expressed my frustration with signing documents and gaining access to my unit. This conversation only raised my level of frustration. Left with no other choice I waited for someone to appear at the office. Ten minutes later, I noticed the sign being removed and I entered. The woman whom I spoke with on the phone apologized in a condescending tone while the other woman proceeded to assist me. Suddenly, there was no record of my lease, my payment - nothing and there was no clear explanation as to what happened - I was beyond frustrated at this point. After 15 to 20 mins of investigating - we had to start from scratch. The woman helping me was incredible - she was knowledgeable, thorough, she was kind, empathetic and efficient. In a situation where I could have easily gone elsewhere - she restored my trust. Her name is Nikita and she was amazing! Thank you, Nikita

Impressed from the start, the process was quick and easy to follow. Once I showed up, entered my code for access to my space, my unit was spotless and odorless, sizeable for my things. The employee was nice and helpful and even offered me water. This is my very first experience using a storage unit. I highly recommend this company to safely store your items.
