I came in earlier this week and even though there wasn’t any parking available at this location, Uniquekwa went above and beyond to help me. She actually reserved me a space at a nearby sister site so I wouldn’t be stuck. She was so professional, articulate, and explained everything clearly. On top of that, she had such a warm personality and carried herself beautifully. I left feeling truly taken care of. Thank you, Uniquekwa!

Manny the manager is THE BEST. This facility is GREAT and we looked at several for our needs. 1) It is CLIMATE CONTROLLED 2) ALL UNITS = FIRST FLOOR - it’s a giant warehouse filled with storage spaces with no elevators involved. Most guaranteed first floor units are drive ups that are not climate controlled, or at other extra space locations, the first floor is usually quite a bit more expensive for the convenience. This place is fairly priced and everything is on the first floor. 3) ALWAYS HAD CARTS AVAILABLE. Every single time we came to move in or move out there were always multiple carts available for our use. Many other places have only a handful of carts that are frequently unavailable. At this place we never had that problem. 4) SAFE LOCATION - never had any problems and it’s not located in a sketchy area. It backs up to a Thorton’s gas station facility so you can grab yourself some drinks and snacks after sweating out the big move lol Just beware that after your initial rate for new customers expires the rate will go up… I recommend being a human being and not a bot and go into the office and talk to Manny. He is awesome and will do whatever he can to help you out! Highly recommend this facility, it’s unique for Extra Space Storage : )

It is not a bad deal in the beginning but prices climb after a certain period and then can become too much.

My experience since the Extra Storage buyout hasn't been the best HOWEVER Manny at the W Hillsborough Ave location has made up for the issues. He's not only knowledgeable but made me feel heard and respected as a woman. I wish every single interaction I had with a male customer service agent was as easy. He got me into a new unit with ease. Thank you!!!!
