If I could give this place a NEGATIVE RATING, I would. Absolute worst customer service. Bait-and-switch bureaucracy at its finest. I had the worst experience at the Extra Space Storage located at 1337 Highway 138 Conyers, Georgia. I explicitly informed them of my entire situation beforehand—that I needed to store a vehicle I had purchased less than 24 hours prior. They acknowledged it, processed my payment, and even emailed me a formal rental agreement. However, the moment I arrived to move the vehicle in, they completely refused my business because I did not have a permanent registration or a physical license plate tag. What makes this an absolute joke: 1. The vehicle was fully paid for and I had every legal document imaginable: I literally had my temporary registration in hand, the complete bill of sale, the official receipt of purchase, and valid insurance documentation. I had flawless legal proof of ownership. 2. They demanded the impossible: It is logistically and legally impossible to get a permanent DMV registration and physical metal tag within 24 hours of buying a car. 3. Total incompetence from management: I escalated this to both the front-desk employee and the sales manager. Neither one of them could even explain the common-sense reason behind this policy. They just blindly hid behind a rigid rule that they completely failed to disclose before taking my money. To take a customer's money, email them a rental contract, let them show up with a moving vehicle, and then turn them away over a bureaucratic technicality that they couldn't even justify is highly unprofessional. If you have just bought a vehicle, avoid this Extra Space Storage. They lack communication, common sense, and basic customer service.
