First of all, my experience with Mark Smith at the Lawrenceville location by Sugarloaf has been excellent. Earlier this year, the company raised my monthly storage fees to almost double without notification, I was extremely upset but he was calm, kind, and understanding even when faced with my anger. He said Extra Space storage does not send fee change notifications by email or text, but on a small post card in the mail (which I never received!) He put in a request for a one month refund of the amount of the increase, which helped some but did not erase my dissatisfaction with not receiving a timely rate increase notification. The notifications that my payment is due and the receipt come through email and/or text, so it seems rather unfair to rely on paper mail to send a notice when raising fees. Without a timely and reliable warning of this rate hike, I did not have the courtesy of time to decide I wanted to choose another storage company. The storage facility itself is clean, dry, secure, and easily accessible. If I felt that I would receive reliable notification of rate changes in the future, I would definitely give them 5 stars.

Mark has been amazing setting me up with my new unit. We toured the facility, he helped with the paperwork and was nice and friendly throughout the entire process. The facility is very nice, clean and upkept. Strongly recommended.

I had the greatest experience by far. The service was excellent. Mark was very knowledgeable and accommodating by going above and beyond to ensure the unit matched my need. The rates were also very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone.
