This storage unit location was terrible and very predatory ! I rented out a unit from them to store some of my belongings as I was in the process of moving due to a dv situation . I ended up falling behind multiple times while dealing with my situation, but also doing my best and trying to make sure that my unit was paid for and also communicating with the manager. My unit ended up getting sold due to the fact that I wasn’t able to pay for it, and I ended up hospitalized which I informed management about and after I found out was sold, they claim that they reached out to me which they did not because they had all my information on file I didn’t receive a phone call text message anything about them selling my unit or anything when I had called they had said that they had already sold my unit the day prior and I had asked them if they could share my contact information with whoever bought my unit as I had some items in there that I wanted to keep I had obituaries from loved ones that have passed away and other little small memorabilia that I wanted to keep that I have since lost. they were of no help. They gave me a bogus email to reach out to somebody in order to get help which I did not and I am very hurt about the situation because I have I only lost a memorabilia that meant a lot to me, but it really made me lose my trust and ever renting a storage unit ever again I’m scared that I’m may go through the same situation . Not to mention, they’re crazy price rates you start off with a low price and then it gradually increases. That’s very Predatory to me

I had a great experience at Extra Space Storage on Annapolis Road—the facility is clean and and well-maintained. Andre provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to help me resolve an auto payment issue. He was professional, transparent, and truly followed the company’s integrity standards, making sure everything was handled exactly as promised. I actually left the office a few minutes ago after seeing Andre and thought to myself how lucky this company is to have Andre and team.
