Avoid this location if you value customer service and cleanliness!!!! I have had a storage unit here for over a year, and almost every single phone interaction has been horrible, met with zero urgency or care. The manager, Andy, is extremely rude and passive-aggressive. Months ago, he hung up on me mid convo. When I called back and asked to speak to a manager, he proudly stated he was the manager, said "Mmhhmm," and hung up on me again. I finally visited my unit in person this week, and his attitude was just as terrible. When I asked him if he would want his own employees treating customers this way, especially since I’ve done nothing to deserve his attitude, he showed nothing but disdain. He genuinely does not possess the basic manners or customer service skills required to be an employee, let alone a manager. On top of the awful management, there are roaches crawling all over the facility. I am currently rushing to get my belongings out of here, praying they aren’t infested with critters. The one saving grace of this facility is an employee named ANDRE. He deserves five stars for sure. I had a great experience with him when I explained my situation, and he kindly offered to move my due date to give me more time to pay. I was so happy when I finally got someone other than Andy, although it was only once. Andy has never offered that kind of helpful support. Thank you, Andre, you truly made a difference! Andy, on the other hand, needs to be replaced immediately. I truly hope Extra Space Storage takes this seriously and evaluates the type of people they hire!!!!

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Extra Space Storage. When I first rented my unit about nine months ago, my rate was approximately $80 per month. Since then, the price has increased dramatically and is now $250 per month—more than three times what I originally paid. I called to discuss the increase and was left on hold for at least 10 minutes. I was eventually offered a temporary reduction to $175, but I was also told that the rate would likely increase back to $250—and possibly even higher—in the future. I was basically told that this is simply what storage facilities do. That explanation does not make a customer feel any better about such a drastic increase in less than a year. The customer service at this location has also been frustrating. When I need assistance from the employee I believe is named Andy, he frequently is not in the office, and I have had to wait 5–10 minutes for someone to return. On top of all of this, the elevators are rarely working. For a storage facility where customers need to move boxes, furniture, and other heavy items to and from their units, having elevators that are consistently out of service is a major inconvenience—especially while the monthly rental rates continue to increase. I understand that businesses occasionally adjust their rates, but going from approximately $80 to $250 in nine months while dealing with poor customer service and elevators that rarely work is unacceptable. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Extra Space Storage to ask specifically about their rate-increase policies and the condition of the facility before renting a unit.
