Whitman self storage at 999 Bedford St

I'm pretty familiar with Extra Space Storage and I'm glad to be storing with the branch in Whitman. At the time of getting my Storage online it wasn't made clear if I was getting climate control or not (which the company should take a look into). After I was done filling everything out and paid I decided to bring some of my stuff over to store and also to take a look into my unit. I was greeted by the manager and he showed me where I was going to be storing but as we were getting ready to walk in he remembered the value of my insurance and ask if I was gonna be storing electronics, I said yes. He told me this Storage wasn't made for me cause even though it's indoor its not climate control. I was really upset not at him more so with the website cause it said climate control, but I'm glad he caught that and made the arrangements and got me my climate control unit. The manager, which I can't remember his name, was awesome and I appreciate him catching that issue for me cause I would've been upset if my electronics and books/magazines got damaged.

The facility is clean and professionally run. The sign up process was efficient and painless. Overall very happy with facility and staff.

The guy that works there, I cant remember his name but he's a great guy, hes very professional, helpful, easy to talk to, very informative, knows his job well, goes above and beyond to help u. I had forgot my key because I was moving from a 10x10 to a 5x10 and he cut the lock for me on the old unit. All in all its a very good clean safe place for your stuff. Only thing is it gets pricey . Thanks for all your help!

It was great to be able to to fill out all the contract and payment on-line. Lock was waiting for me as promised. Had a little trouble with the lift - was super nice and helpful with tips and tricks.

These guys are great. Its my second time using them. This time I had to change units twice and they were super accommodating and helpful etc.. throughout the process. Excellent customer service! Bill is the man.

I just recently booked a reservation to rent a unit here. I got a phone call the next morning from Bill, who was super friendly and answered all of my questions. We set up a date to open the unit, but because of an emergency I wasn’t going to be able to make it. I called Bill the day before and he told me not to worry, that we could set everything up right over the phone. He was accommodating and the process was quick and simple. I was able to read and sign the documents electronically without leaving my bed, which I am so grateful for. I have yet to see the facility physically, but I can say that they have exceptional customer service. This process has been easy peasy and I definitely recommend!

Great place! The service here is always the best!

Rented the storage during Covid to put my personal items in a climate controlled area until I was allowed to move it back to work. Place was clean and well-lit. Carts were available to move items in and out of storage. Manager was available to answer questions. I would use this storage again if needed.
