1. I reserved a unit on the app, paid in full. When I arrived to the facility, with my things in a rented uhaul, my unit wasn’t available. So they gave me a bigger unit at a discounted rate $60 a month, until a bigger unit was available. Fine! 2. The rate changed the next month to $120 on a unit I didn’t want and had to call and have the amount corrected, admittedly their fault. 3. I decided to stay in that unit and pay the normal rate $120 bc I moved to work in another state. 4. Made my payments on time every month $120 for 6-7 months. 5. Went to pay this months bill January 2026 and my bill amount was changed to $200 a month a 66% increase. I called and asked why, again admitted a fault and said they would fix it. 6. I checked the amount today and the amount was changed again to $164 a month a 38% increase. I was told it was the market. Right! I asked the employees if they had gotten a raise recently. No! I called the county to check if property taxes had gone up drastically. Nope 1.8% in Canton, Mi. 7. I called to 5 other storage facilities in the same area to get pricing. $70, $75, $83, $85 & $103. The market seems to be less? 8. This is not how business is practiced and if I have to drive to Michigan and change my storage location or pay someone to, I will. 9. WARNING!! DONT RENT STORAGE FROM THIS COMPANY.
