The units are not climate controlled. They will advertise as such but do not put your items here. We just moved here two weeks ago and got the storage unit because we didn't want our items getting damaged and I've kept the thermometer inside the unit that's digital and it tracks the temperature. It's only 40°. All of our items are going to be ruined that need to be climate controlled. They told me that it's cold outside and I said well that's what an HVAC unit is for and that's what climate control means meaning you turn up the heat. Updated - still a problem! They stated they only keep the temperature at 55° when I asked on-site management. That's far too cold and not recommended for the interior buildings by any sensible HVAC person. My son who is a licensed HVAC business owner went on-site with me and also was concerned about the temperature. The 800 storage location in Plymouth is MUCH nicer and may cost slightly more but your items won't be ruined. My concern is in the summer and the heat with photos and other personal belongings. Now we have to move items AGAIN!
