Beware of steep rent increases. Our rent went up quarterly after locking in an internet special price for the first three months. We were able to negotiate a lower increase the first time. Then we moved to a smaller unit, which was still more expensive than the original price. Our third increase was from $185 to $285 and we cancelled our contract.
