My experience so far has been great at the Kings Highway Bellmawr NJ location, the Manager E, ( i will just use an initial in case she wants her privacy ) is top notch! She is super friendly always has something nice to say and very accommodating. ! Extra Space you should be proud to have someone like her running your facility . i would highly recommend you give this women a raise! as she is a great employee to do business with!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Extra Space Storage location and the way my situation was handled from beginning to end. Between April 30 and May 1, several items of significant value went missing from my unit, yet lower-value belongings that were clearly identifiable as mine were left outside and untouched. That inconsistency alone raised serious concerns for me regarding how the situation was handled and what may have occurred during that timeframe. What made matters worse was the lack of professionalism, communication, and consistency throughout the process. I was given conflicting information multiple times, access to my unit suddenly became restricted, and I was often left unclear on expectations, timelines, and next steps. The property manager advised me that notes were being made to help support my insurance claim and gave me the impression that the matter was being documented appropriately. However, the claim was ultimately denied due to “lack of evidence of forcible entry,” despite concerns already being raised regarding access to the unit and the handling of belongings. I had been a customer in good standing throughout my time renting there. My payments were consistently made on time, my unit was kept clean and organized, and I never caused issues at the property. Due to my personal circumstances after being displaced from my residence, I kept essential belongings such as clothing and bath items in storage, but I was never using the unit as a place to live or sleep overnight. Camera footage and access logs would show I was never at the property late into the night and was typically gone well before 8:30 PM. Even with management being aware of my circumstances and actively discussing termination of my unit, my payment for the following month was still fully processed only days later. My concerns and claim were already active at that time, yet I was still charged for a full additional month. When I attempted to discuss assistance or a credit/refund for the unused time, I was denied. I also found communication from management to be dismissive and, at times, unnecessarily rude during an already stressful situation. Instead of feeling supported as a paying customer dealing with loss, confusion, and displacement, I felt like I was constantly chasing answers while being treated unfairly. I understand storage facilities have policies that must be followed, but customers also deserve professionalism, transparency, consistency, and good-faith handling of their belongings and concerns. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I strongly recommend customers document everything thoroughly, keep records of all communication, and review camera/access policies carefully before storing valuable belongings at this location.
