Unfortunately, while I do like this location, the corporate extension of Extra Space has been gradually raising rates. I first rented my unit in April of 2025. Since that point, they have raised my rate 28% in just one year. Again, I don't believe that the people working at this location have anything to do with this. It's a corporate push. But the problem (and the reason for my review) is that they get you to move in at a low rate and then gradually raise it over time knowing that it is a burden to move your stuff to another location. It's a horrible practice. Morally just awful. They hope that you don't notice and that you just auto-pay. If you call, they will admit the increase and lower your cost, but not by much. Inflation is real but a 28% increase in one year is just completely unreasonable. If this continues, I'll be paying almost double for what I signed on for by 2028. Just a warning to anyone considering the Extra Space brand in general. (images attached to prove the increase) (also we saw a mouse running down the hallway)
