Moving into a new chapter of life was not easy for me. After living in my home for 30 years, I had to sort through a lifetime of memories,items my children had since they were very young, keepsakes, and the life my husband and I built together. Packing everything up, deciding what to keep, what to store, and what to let go was emotionally overwhelming. During that process, I needed a storage company I could trust. I knew I did not want to return to the orange-and-white storage company because I never had a pleasant experience there. The facilities often felt untidy, and customer service always made the experience stressful rather than helpful. That’s when I found Extra Space Storage in Mount Laurel 103 Ark Rd, upon a hilltop. I had passed by it many times and always noticed how clean and well-kept it looked. When I finally called, feeling anxious and overwhelmed, Mr. Mark answered the phone. From the very beginning, he was friendly, patient, accommodating, and genuinely understanding of the emotions that come with such a major life transition. He took the time to help me find the right storage unit for my belongings, and when I realized at the last minute that I needed additional space, he once again came through for me. It was about 15 minutes before closing, yet he answered my call with kindness and reassured me that it was “no problem.” He quickly found another unit nearby that perfectly accommodated the rest of my items at a good price. Throughout the entire process, Mark remained upbeat, lighthearted, and encouraging, which truly helped keep me focused during such a difficult time. The facility itself is absolutely wonderful, clean, brightly lit, organized, and safe. Even when I visited alone, I always felt comfortable and secure there. At one point, I sent my son-in-law to access the unit, and I had accidentally forgotten to give him the code. Mark immediately recognized who he was and helped him without hesitation, once again making everything easy and stress-free. Every interaction was met with professionalism and the comforting response of, “No problem.” I truly appreciate Extra Space Storage for helping me through this journey with such care and compassion. I recently needed to downsize into a smaller unit. I contacted Extra Space and had the pleasure of speaking with Mark. He was able to make this happen within a few minutes over the phone. I highly recommend Extra Space for storage units and if you get to work with Mark, its a bonus !
