I have mixed feelings about this place. It's clean and very secure and it was convenient to be able to get into my unit until 10pm. There was always a cart waiting just inside the door to transport my items on, though I do wish the carts had been larger so I didn't have to make so many trips. There's also a big bump in the doorway that was difficult to get the cart over. Items often fell off while I was trying to get the cart out of the building because of that. The customer service was good when I first rented my unit. I was taken to the unit, shown how to operate the locks, etc. They also called to verify that the second lock I added was really my doing. I do wish they hadn't put the stickers on my locks, though, because I can't get the sticky stuff off of them now. I ended up moving my items elsewhere, partially because I was uncomfortable with the manager always showing up where I was when I came to put things in my unit or take them out, and also because I found a place with a unit only 5 square feet smaller but at half the price. The new place I moved to is just as clean and secure, quite a bit easier to get in and out of, open until 10pm and provides bigger carts. You might want to check around before choosing Extra Space Storage, because there are others that are as good or better at a lower cost.
