Just 3 days before my space rent was due, I received a bill that appeared to be 2 months rent. I confirmed that last months rent was paid and called to find out what had happened... that was when it was explained to me that my space rent was increasing 100%!!! This is non-climate controlled space! Am I in the wrong business?!?! I was told that I hade been paying an Internet special price that had now expired. On such short notice, I had no choice but to pay... not to mention that I am a retired service-disabled veteran currently healing from a heart procedure and would be unable to move to a more reasonable storage facility at this time. I've used this same company in the past and had good luck with them... but it appears that my luck has run out. New ownership? Update... I was called by management and was reduced back to the price I was praying previously. I was told the prices change regularly with market trends. Storage space is not easy to afford as is the case with so many things in this economy.
