Overall, I’ve had a great experience with Extra Space Storage, and I would definitely recommend this location. I completed the entire rental process online, which was quick easy inconvenient. The ladies I’ve spoken with also have been very friendly and helpful. There are just a few things I think it could be improved. First, I recommend a larger or more visible sign near the entrance. My GPS took me slightly past the interest and because the signage wasn’t very noticeable I drove right past it at first. When I arrived and saw my original storage, I realize the location of it wasn’t going to work well for me. I transferred to a unit in the second building that is on the end and a little bigger, which I like much better, however I wasn’t thrilled that I had to pay an additional fee to transfer units. My biggest issue is the access system. The entry code is pretty long and you have to enter it to open the building door then enter it again to use the elevator when you have two or three people moving items in and out it can become frustrating because neither the door nor the elevator stays open very long at one point my son was actually stuck waiting on the elevator because he couldn’t reach the button for the third floor so I had to enter the code again to get the door open to help him. On the positive side I already had my own lock and didn’t need the one provided with the unit. They refunded me for it with no problem which I really appreciate the price is much more affordable than my previous storage facility, which is a huge plus There are a few things that could use some tweaking, particularly the signage and the access system but overall, the customer service convenience in price have made it this a great experience. Five stars for me.
