? Avoid this facility if you value your tenant rights and privacy. I recently experienced an incredibly frustrating situation with the management at this location. As a paying tenant, I authorized a trusted individual to access my unit in my absence, fully accepting all responsibility for the visit in good faith. Management advised “I know all my customers”, which is untrue and honestly not valid in this instance. This manager is new once the facility changed from CubeSmart to ExtraSpace. I met this manager passively in a move in on another unit. He certainly would not know me, who I am affiliated with legally, by marriage, or other close relationship that I’ve allowed access on my behalf. Instead of honoring my rights as a customer, the staff stepped in and caused an unnecessary disruption, interfering with my visitor and my personal belongings. To make matters worse, the way management handled this afterward was deeply unprofessional. I was subjected to a disruptive phone call and spoken to in a highly disrespectful manner that I did not appreciate with the “we won’t renew next month” and “what are you going to do since you’re in another state to get my visitors access”. What an idiot question when you just stated I’m in another state. Obviously, I can’t do anything but turn them away for now because I am not there and thought they would have access no problem. Fortunately, for me I won’t be renewing anyway and the plan was to move on by next billing because of the ridiculous price hikes. Respectfully, it is a kiss where the sun doesn’t shine and borderline a new suit I can pursue for my treatment and my visitors. If you want a storage facility that respects your boundaries, honors communication preferences, and lets you manage your own rented space without harassment, look elsewhere.
