Pros are: Both marketing & facility employees are very helpful & accommodating. When we experienced a problem with a unit, Kyra quickly processed a transfer within the same building. It's important to see the unit & location prior to leasing. Unit rates are very competitive. Cons: The office at the Seminary Road, Falls Church, VA facility is closed on Wednesdays although that is not advertised. Moving carts can be difficult to find although the manager stated more carts have been ordered. Overall I would recommend.

The reason I chose this company and location is because Kyrah's service (and care!) was exceptional. Moving is stressful and doing it alone, as a woman stumbling over heavy boxes etc. was even more intimidating to me. She broke every policy down for me very clearly and made sure I had exactly the kind of unit I needed. Far from automated and very personable and kind.

Storage is one of those things that is necessary every once in a while and it doesn't really leave an impression on you good or bad. However, my experience with Extra Space Storage was different. This place was absolutely amazing and it will now be my go to storage in the DMV area. First off, due to COVID, I had to move in a rush, and they gracefully set me up with a nice, temperature controlled unit at a discounted rate. They worked with me as I was going out of state and provided updates and checkins periodically to ensure that I was happy with the service I was providing. On the day I finally moved back to Virginia and came back for my things, the manager Kyrah made sure that I was in the absolute best hands. I lost my key and I was sweating it, but she was so nice about it! She cut my lock off and helped me retrieve my things all while being so kind, friendly and above all else extremely professional. Y'all need to give her a raise. If you are in search of a wonderful storage unit you should definitely check this place out! It is definitely worth the trek even if you live in Arlington or DC!

This is my first time renting a storage space. Of course, I have tons of questions. The manager is very patient and passionate in explaining every details. After signing the contract, I still have more questions four days after and want to tour the facility again. The manager is very willingly to make sure the unit I get is exactly what I want
