Edit: Rec’d a call from Miranda, the local manager. She is refunding the full $345. I did make a reservation elsewhere that is not as convenient as this location, sadly. Thank you for getting in touch with me. I made a reservation via the Neighbors app to store my Camaro for the winter. I chose this location due to the close proximity of my house. During the follow-up call, I specifically explained that I was storing a vehicle. We even discussed providing a copy of my title or registration. When I arrived, I discovered I had been booked into an indoor unit accessible only through narrow hallways, making it impossible to get my car into the unit. The employee showed me other options, including drive-up units for approximately $400 a month, which was more than I was willing to spend. When discussing other options and possible transfers, I asked for clarification since I had never actually moved in. Rather than explaining the process, the employee became visibly frustrated, repeatedly talked over me, and was dismissive. At that point, I decided to cancel rather than continue the conversation. What disappointed me most was that I paid approximately $345 and was only refunded $314. Despite the booking error being entirely on their end, they refused to refund the remaining fees. I showed up expecting to store my vehicle in the unit I had reserved. Instead, I left without storage, wasted my time, and lost money through no fault of my own. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them speaks volumes. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of professionalism, customer service, and accountability.
