Well i had a great exeprience with this location. My 1st time renting and it was fun, quick and fast. A young man name Dominic was greatest customer service i ever had. He listened to my problems, helped me resolved the issue with getting the right storage I needed. I am going to defintley come here every year and recommend people to this facility.

I was in the process of moving late 2012 into a home being renovated and things fell off schedule when Maryland was met by hurricane Sandy as there was damage to the unit. I was on a month to month lease and close to expiration and there was no other option than to vacate the property. So having a full house worth of furniture and no where to go until the damages were repaired I looked into renting a storage space. Many had great deals and offers but were either out of the way or provided access hours that did not work with my lifestyle. I visited the Extra Space Storage office and was greeted by a very friendly woman whom offered all inforamtion and details of the agreement as well as advising me that I could change the size of my unit for smaller things once we moved out the initial housing necessities. I did just that I moved out almost all of my property and down sized my space to fit the needs of a few items that were to be stored away. So far the experience has been great and I also reffered a friend!!!

Convenient location, secure, love the motion sensor lights to save on energy

I've used numerous storage facilities in the past, and this Baltimore facility at Howard and 24th tops them in ALL in cleanliness and the courteousness and helpfulness of the staff. It is very well-lit and fairly easy to access. I was quite happy with the condition and size of my unit, especially for the price. (I got a web-deal: indoor 5X10 unit on the second floor for less than $60/mo. Not bad.) I was also satisfied with the security; aside from the cameras and entry codes required, I was pleased to note how difficult it would be to get inside my unit even if someone had access to the building. Most of the time I can pull my car right up into the covered loading area (nice when it's raining, or even just hot), put in my access code and take the elevator right up (which also requires an access code.) But I really have to say, I'm consistently impressed with how friendly, professional, and courteous the staff working behind the counter are. I've only had pleasant interactions there (with at least a half dozen different staff members.) The only "improvements" I could see would be (1) to have more hours of access (til midnight, or personally -- my favorite -- 24 hour access, because I keep crazy artist hours and I'm in school early in the morning til late at night) and/or (2) to have wider aisles so navigating through the halls with your large furniture/sculpture is a little easier. Obviously the second thing is not going to change due to the limitations of the building and the way the storage facilities have already been designed. But overall, really quite pleased with this storage facility. I would definitely recommend, and I would choose it again.

The facility was very clean and well-organized. Though my unit was located on the third floor, I had no problem reaching it. The unit itself was spotless, and the security, with code entry required in multiple spots, was definitely up to standard. The registration process was efficient and clear. This is definitely where I will be renting storage space in the future.

I became a customer when you first opened, the units are so clean, as is the building, the agents are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I would like to be in a position to have my things with me, but since I can't this is the perfect place to have them stored.
