Facility Description
Extra Space Storage of Memphis, Tennessee protects your belongings with state-of-the-art security including individually alarmed units, electric gate access, motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance and a manager who lives onsite. We are conveniently located on a dead end street, near Covington Pike and Covington Way, next to John Kennedy Park and close to Interstate 40 (I-40). Our facility has 482 self-storage units ranging in size from 5’x 5’ to 20’x 30,’ some of which are climate-controlled for sensitive items. We also have storage spaces for RVs, cars, boats and other vehicles. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your needs. And to make your move easier, we’ve implemented convenient features like drive aisles wide enough for semi-trucks, a free moving truck and moving carts for interior units. Our extended gate hours are longer than most other storage facilities’ and allow you to access your belongings when you need them. Our facility also offers a unique feature called DocuSign, an electronic lease that you sign digitally to save time. As part of the community, many of our customers enjoy recreating at the Mississippi River, supporting the Memphis Community College and the University of Memphis and attending events at Wolfchase Gallery and the Fed Ex Forum. I'm moving out this Saturday and moving into a new house in Germantown. These guys have been great! Had a perfect experience for three months in between houses. The staff members were very helpful and professional. The facilities were located right off 240 so very convenient location no matter where you are located. The facilities were well in perfect condition and the individual storage units spotless.
