We are conveniently located three miles from downtown Dallas, close to the Dallas Love Field Airport near the cross streets of Mockingbird Lane and Maple Avenue. Our facility has 820 self-storage units ranging in size from 5’x 5’ to 10’x 30,’ some of which are climate-controlled for sensitive items. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your needs. Because we value our customers’ security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance, electric gate access and a manager who lives onsite. Our extended gate hours are longer than most other storage facilities’ and allow you to access your belongings when you need them. Our facility also offers a unique feature called DocuSign, an electronic lease that you sign digitally to save time. I started out will Tony and now Neil is in charge. Both men are competent and professional . They both seem to enjoy their job and care about the people as well as the business. The facility is clean and convenient. I have used extra storage before and had the same great service.

The Dallas Maple Ave location is a 5 star plus storage facility.

In choosing Extra Space the most important feature was pricing, an air conditioned space and proximity to our coporate office. Both Anthony and Tony are great. They helped to guide us in choosing the size storage space that would best fit our needs. When we moved our boxes we learned of a new feature - we could (and still use when retrieving boxes) drive up a ramp and offload right from the vehicle. That feature allows for privacy in mvoing items in and/or out of the facility. We are pleased with Extra Space, Tony and Anthony. Execellent customer service is everything. Thank you.

I have used this facility since the 1980's, when they were managed by another company. I have always liked the clean rooms, and the pest control. The staff is friendly, and I am pleased with the pricing. These features and service did not change when the management changed . The storage facility is in a good location. I have found my unit to be moderate in temperature as it's an outdoor access unit and much preferable to storage companies who only have the inside units and it gets stifling hot. They try to keep on top of the rodent population and the facility appears organized and seemingly clean. I have needed assistance with the door a couple of times and the owner was there working onsite and he assisted me and offered to make the door more easily handled in the future. I appreciated that and his helpful manner.

Since this facility has been changed to Extra Space Storage I have not been able to receive my monthly receipts via email as I was able to in the past. My understanding is that they have not been given access to do that yet but are hopeful to be able to have that option in the very near future. Please consider allowing customers to have that option. I have been with this location for almost 2 years. I love the access and security. My space is very secure even in the event of unloading or loading during the mornings and evenings. If I need a truck and ask in advance, I always have been treated like family. The staff made sure I was taken care of. They are excellent! If I had to reduce the space I need.........I would wait for a unit to open up at my location before I went somewhere else.
