(after I posted this review the error in billing was corrected) I would describe my experience with this Extra Space Storage location as predatory. I understood that the initial rental rate was promotional and could increase over time. However, after only three months, my rate increased by 100%. My contract states that rate increases require 30 days' notice, but I never received any notice before being charged the higher amount. When I raised the issue with management, they claimed a notice had been mailed, but they could not provide any proof that I actually received it. The manager offered a credit toward a future month but refused to refund the month that had already been charged at the higher rate. Customers should be aware that the advertised introductory rates can change very quickly and potentially double within a matter of months. If you rent here, monitor your invoices closely and don't assume your rate will remain stable for very long.
