UPDATE - August 2026: This review is about two months overdue! I fully intended to write it sooner, but life and work got busy. The fact that I still remembered Jaelen M. (my apologies if I've misspelled your name!) and wanted to come back and acknowledge him says a lot about the impression he made. I needed to rent an additional storage unit for my business, and Jaelen was incredibly accommodating. I explained what I needed, why I needed the additional unit, and approximately how long I would need it. He listened, asked the right questions, and made the entire process easy and straightforward. Jaelen was also genuinely pleasant and personable. During our conversation, we discovered that we had both previously lived in the same state, which was such a nice coincidence. That led to a fun conversation comparing life there with life in New York. I also told him that he shares the same name as a friend's son, so between the coincidences and his great personality, I knew I would remember him! And two months later, I finally did. I recently ran into Jaelen again while he was working, and he was just as pleasant and gracious as I remembered. Good customer service isn't only about completing a transaction. Sometimes it's simply about how someone treats you while doing it. Jaelen was professional, helpful, accommodating, and kind. Thank you, Jaelen! And please forgive the very late review—you weren't forgotten! ORIGINAL REVIEW - 2024 Today, I had the BEST customer service experience! Let me first say, it is associates/managers like Niyokei, who make customer service their priority, that causes consumers such as myself not only want to leave a positive review but also recommend Extra Space Storage to others. I mention this because my main ESS unit is in South Beach, FL., I share this unit here in NY with a friend. So, to receive exceptional service like I did today, at yet another Extra Space Storage facility says a lot about their brand. So, I wanted to say thank you so very much Niyokei for your sincere and warm welcome when I entered the office.
